Experience has shown that companies where employees are shareholders enjoy higher productivity, as people are willing to work harder if they have a direct interest in the success of an enterprise. If Labour Union was universal, and workers were guaranteed stakes in companies, such as whether the executives (or even council) to make decisions directly with the interests of workers, those workers could negotiate for the removal of these executives in favour of other entrepreneurs were ready to commit to making the company viable, while maintaining its staff. This could take the form of acquisitions or anything else. This democratization of capital, I believe, will do the kind of nationalisation of capital characteristic of socialism unnecessary for achieving social justice and equal treatment. At the same time, the essential entreprenurial spirit of capitalism could even lead to advances in technology and associated high quality of life. Oh, Happy Day! «I am not a socialist (or a communist), for that matter. As described above, I am of private property and capital. I identify myself as Anarcho-syndicalist. People in these councils have for me as a libertarian before, but I always got the impression that libertarians all more or less the same level of social Darwinism (which as a Roman Catholic offend my moral sensibilities). I believe that citizens have the right to act collectively with others who share their interests. The big problem I have with American capitalism is exactly what NOTHINGCONSTANT says: business interests, while profit from collectivisation of capital, in a way that freedom is denied to working people who want to do the same thing (the only asset in their work) through the Labour Union. If all men are created equal and endowed by their creator with unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of HAPPINESS then how is that companies like Wal-Mart get away with that BS; How will we get to that Item: The shareholders have the opportunity to negotiate hirings and firings of the executive management already. All yo uowuld have to do is to negotiate, so that employees of the company control 51% of available shares in the company. How will this happen? Unions, that is the way. Legal companies from prohibiting interferring with workers trying to organize their lives could eventually lead to a general (though not universal) union for each person with a job. I believe this because when the benefits of collective action is clearly described, is incontrovertible. Regarding corruption, I do not think you can have any organization of three or more people, where there is not going to be a double-dealing and shennanigans (where this is the “Anarcho” conflicts). Hell, I live with corruption in my government and my country’s industry … at least allows me to everyone on the road to corruption … not just the rich and politically connected. (j / k)
My Comments

1. Oh Boy … The lid is off, on the part of economic falcons will be here to rip your throat for sure .. but I am with you my friend. Give people an opportunity to create something better and we have every year! PS Sorry … I know that separated yourself from the “S” word .. but this is a very social meaning and used with great success at companies such as BASF and other manufacturers Euro … Update, .. I just read your response to the answers .. I think just good Folk said that it is better. (as it has done many times) social democracy works because it involves the incentive, forward movement of capital, but sought to offset the Darwinian brutality of the current corporate model … We are all saying the same things and agree on the sudden rash of “Libertarianism” I think when Republicans, aware they have decided that we’d rather … Again “Good Post”!
2. Hmm .. I guess I would like to ask … Wal-Mart employees are able to buy the stock exchange and have been combined. Sam Walton used to give away stock for a good job .. but this has been done away with for too little. The Wal-Mart worker does not seem to be worried about the health of the company. If there is something they want to be destroyed. It also encouraged to report any unionization and to use the “Open Door Policy”. It is even go so far as to show 30 minutes of video with Associations and how to “deal” with people you approach. What will you do in this instance? When people holding stock in Wal-Mart still want to fail? Attempted unionization is met with cooking? Also, some employees do not have business savvy. We are still entitled to make company decisions? I think we will reach full mudslingling like today’s election. I like the idea of the way .. wondering what you thought of the above. ~ ~ ~ I was just wondering how it could evolve into what you say. How could it happen? Through strength in unity .. but we are divided more and more each decade. Our education is stunted and our critical thinking skills are out the window. How instill need to do so when capitalism has been shoved down our throats? Importantly .. how to keep the unions from corrupt? I have just resigned from the fact that corruption is a mainstay at all and I do not see how it could be resolved in this way. Temporarily perhaps … but the employees will receive individualized once again and start questioning motives and capabilities of their fellow workers. I know that you are not Marxist .. but I prefer Veblen. It is mainly Marx believed was right to a certain extent, but the gap between technical skills and menial labors will grow so much that the proletariat would be mentally incapable of running things such as Marx suggested. He also said that people will never ever give up capitalism when getting something out of it. This is perhaps something small and get screwed all the time .. but if the recipient is on their minds .. It does not change.
3. I believe you are correct. Giving workers claim against the residual (profit) associated with trying to solve some problems important incentive. In a sense, this is the end of the year, all bonuses do, besides they are sometimes linked to individual performance rather than collective performance. The downside is that it gives them more risks - most by an employee compensation is tied to something »(company profit) compared with a stable salary, most at risk. Employees and poorer people are often more risk averse. If their incentives draw / profit directly to their own actions (say their own account or division within a company) to get maximum incentives, but maximum risk. Spread it out across the company reduces the risk (because some parts of the company may do better than others), while reducing the incentives, because people walk free. In a way that talking is exactly what some socialists have in mind - worker control of factories. The only difference is you are still positing a middle-man - management - which performs a specific task, while the vision of socialist or a factory in Argentina possession or trafficking in Poland after the collapse of communism was a direct ownership worker - to get rid of management. Since management has to perform some useful roles in my opinion, I think your solution seems quite reasonable, given the warnings I mentioned about the risk.
4. This is democracy in social action. Hardcore socialists would reject the idea that because everything starts from an ideological analysis and does not fit in. It is not realistic enough to be successful in the real world. Marx is dead and wrote what he did over a hundred years ago. Capitalists changed their tactics and adapt, so must we, the Democratic Socialists now support a free market, but try to correct the brutal and oppressive sides to seek cooperation between classes every chance they get. It is more realistic and I think most people like me would love your idea about this issue. However I am sure that parts of the extreme right will ask what you propose is not only socialism, but even communism. Happy Day to you
5. the same is true for almost every opportunity offered in this country … work if it works, and the majority are very uneducated and / or lazy to care. Not everyone is born with the entrepreneur approach, will therefore be easily “buffaloed” an agreement to create a more direct person … thus making the whole idea asymmetrical and apart from the centre to proceed. but it would be nice … persons who are willing to give them better self-and there is a place in their lives will have the opportunity truly limitless.
6. I do not think there is a “socialist” position, since there were so many “socialisms” From the 19 th century. I would prefer not to take your proposal too rigidly, but would like it broadly. IIRC, U.S. law prohibits unions own the same companies representing workers, making it very difficult to achieve. You may want to read some of the work of Kevin Carson, in http://www.mutualist.org

1) I am against any kind of tax increase * *. 2) oppose any rapid changes that cause economic disruption. 3) I am against doing nothing! Americans complain about high gas prices, paying about half the price paid by Europeans. Notice that most Europeans drive vehicle fuels, while the Americans leading miniature dinosaurs marked for consumption purposes or social compliance. Most of us waste gas: - Most dependent on foreign oil - Most of us are tyrants in strengthening oil-rich Middle East kingdoms - most likely will be at risk our troops abroad - The more risk of global warming - less we leave for our children Authority: what is subsidized increases, and what is taxed is reduced. Suppose we have 1) Reduced income taxes 2) * * the same exact amount will increase gas taxes 3) Over a period of 5 years Results: 1) Incentives for entrepreneurs to develop prototypes for alternative energy 2) Reducing greenhouse gas of hogs 3) More on oil our children What is your opinion; Gustavo - until now you have the only non-cynical answer. I agree with you, but I do not see what benefits it will bring your idea. That, if shifting taxes, it would be beneficial. Can you specify what will benefit our society experience, if we followed your idea? — — And for other answers until now, will give up before even trying to do? Large firms may be strong, but it is not omnipotent. Tehawba - gives you more reasoned complaint yet. That does not mean that I agree with you, you just thought more about it than others. — First, many of the poorer today do not lead: using the bus or metro. These people will leave * * road ahead, since taking lower taxes, no extra cost. — Second, for those who can currently can barely afford to maintain a car, will start taking the bus, along with some middle class folks who want to save money. — Third, because most people have stopped driving, public transportation and bicycles will become more viable. What really happens is that poor people would simply find alternative means to get to work or get closer. Even if this does not happen, it will still be possible to reduce poor people for income tax that would sufficiently compensate for the increased cost of fuel. It would have been happier had proposed an alternative solution instead of advocating doing nothing, which is guaranteed to be bad. Tehawba - the more I think about, the more they will realize that this is not a tax on the poor, but rather a tax on stupidity and rigidity. Where to pay more? Why are these people who are too stupid or inflexible to change their travel behavior, which is just fine by me. In the meantime, we think Europe, which have already adopted the system suggest. They have poor European driven deeper into poverty by the high cost of gas? Answer: “no” because the poor in Europe is smarter or more flexible than you.
My Comments

1. If you do not understand your question, do you think will be George?
2. It does not matter really. Corporations Our government. The oil industry WILL NOT let other energy resources to study. If you want our government to do anything about the growing energy crisis … we already had and could have been. It is all for money and as long as our government is sleeping with the oil industry …. nothing will be done.
3. The technology has been around the big oil but will not let it happen no matter how we vote
4. It could work, but I think that oil and natural gas should have exactly the same tax as anything else, not more, not less. Nothing works better than a level playing field.
5. Yes. Why not? Cause then there would be no excuse for the wars in the middle east. If no “enemy” to fight because they will spend trillions on defense contracts?
6. By reducing income tax and increase the gas tax, you are hurting the poor who will pay a larger percentage of their income in gas tax and reducing the tax burden on the rich, now pay for a while. It would be wrong people tax. How are the working poor, which is difficult to make it as such, are supposed to get to work?

I am 47, single and living with my mom, and I am about $ 15000 in debt, not including credit cards. I graduated high school at 77, started at the University of Houston, got sideswiped by a car while on my motorcycle, returned to college after sto’82 do odd jobs, and declared my major Finance. I tried for many years to reach investment, but could not understand why I was rejected repeatedly. Finally I landed a job at a commercial bank sto’84. The bank, then I paused at the beginning of «85 (bust oil) and I felt screwed .. I did not know that sometimes the good guys get the axe. And other banks have hired my colleagues will not even look at me! I tried to get special considerations from the dean Finance «85 (some of my classmates I had gotten similar favours), and rejected by the dean. Seeing the southern economy would I quit school again. After all, my education had not prevented me from dumped. I went through a prolonged period of unemployment, tried to start a business in «88, and finally landed in telemarketing sto’89. More low levels of employment and followed then took what I thought was an interruption. I had the opportunity to return to college and get a BS Social Sciences, plus a CIW certification. Now that I have to be computer programmer. After all, I had a degree plus training in Java, HTML, Perl, PHP, Javascript, ASP! I was not going to be a failure that I had done. I went to the local WorkSource meetings, registered with about 100 bodies, searched online, washed buildings in my region, said each I knew, redid my resume a dozen times, attended a seminar on job search, and did every thing they are supposed to done to find a job. Almost four years later my mother miserable, and I was on food stamps, had about $ 4 in the bank, no major assets, is not imminent jobs, and thoughts of just ends. I could not figure, because this time I had done the right thing. I had completed a training and the times I had to get better. Suddenly a small company in my neighborhood hired me for $ 7.50 an hour to make customer service via telephone. I bought some new underwear for myself that Christmas began to money in the bank, and even got to promote Help desk at $ 8.50 an hour. Unfortunately, the administrator in this small office started deliberately cutting my hours and such to make me quit. I got this for a while, but took my dignity in the way. I told him I was from there and went home to continue my job search that had begun several months earlier, when I saw things all wrong. I have looked at positions (again!) As the funding of the secretariat, customer service rep, junior economist (Master of Social Science), Web assistant, computer operator, etc. Once again it seems like nobody really cares or believes what I have done or can do. Today, 3 months later, my mom is still on food stamps, I have $ 277 in the bank, and not impending jobs. We are once again living off social security and part-time employment. Indeed, as well as areas of investment, Businessman, and Computers. I hate customer service and waiting for people. Where to go from here? Thank you.
My Comments

1. Well first of all you thought about starting a business from your own dealing with finances. You could always be a financial consultant, financial planning, or you might have a daily money manager for the elderly who need help them financially in the classroom. This could really help you, as there are many people in debt and you can help them repair their credit for a small amount. Another thing you could do is an insurance adjuster.
2. Yes. His son works in my Dorm control. Here is the link: http://www.dormcheck.com/register.php?refer=libby101 You get paid for posting and answering positions. They have daily competitions in which you can earn money. They also have a section called zone, where cash typing in words … you can earn money three times a day.

The worship of the Amateur Entering e-mail or Save this Share Print Digg Facebook Newsvine Permalink By MICHIKO KAKUTANI Published: June 29, 2007 Digital utopians have herald the dawn of an era in which Web 2.0 â € “is distinguished by a new generation of participatory sites like YouTube.com and MySpace.com, stressing the content generated by users, social networking and exchange interactive â € “ushers democratisation of the world: more information, more perspectives, more opinions, more everything, and most of it without filters or fees. But as the Silicon Valley entrepreneur Andrew Keen points out in provocative new book, â € œThe Cult of the Amateur, â € 2,0 Web has a dark side too. Skip the next paragraph Catherine Betts Andrew Keen THE CULT OF ERASITECHNIKIS How Todayâ € ™ s Internet is killing our culture, Andrew Keen 228 pages. Doubleday. $ 22.95. Tony Cenicola / The New York Times Mr. Keen argues that â € œwhat the Web 2,0 revolution is really delivering is superficial observations of the world around us rather than deep analysis, shrill opinion rather than considered judgment.â € In his view Internet 2.0 is changing the cultural landscape and is not the best. Without undermining the essential media and intellectual property rights, he says, is to create a world in which â € œlive to see the bulk of our music coming from amateur garage bands, our movies and television from glorified YouTubes, and new our reputation composed hyperactive gossip, served as a simple dressing for advertising.â € This suggests, â € œwhen ignorance meets egoism meets bad taste meets mob rule.â € This book, which arose from a controversial report published last year from the weekly Standard, is a shrewdly argued jeremiad against the digerati effort to dethrone cultural and political «pyloroi» and replace experts with â € œwisdom of crowd.â € Although Mr. Keen wanders off the subject in later chapters book â € “to deliver a general, moral rants against Internet evils like online gambling and online pornography â €” he writes with acuity and passion about the consequences of a world where the lines between fact and opinion, informed expertise and amateurish speculation is, is blurred. For one thing, says Mr. Keen, â € œhistory has shown that the number is not often very wise, â € embracing unwise ideas like â € œslavery, infanticide, George W. Bushâ € ™ s war in Iraq, Britney Spears.â The number € technology bubble created by the 1990’s, just as it created the disastrous Tulipmania that swept Holland in 17 th century. Mr. Keen also points out that the search results Google â € “â € which œsearch answer questions not with what is more correct or more reliable, but what is more popularâ € â €” can be manipulated by â € œGoogle bombingâ € (which â € œinvolves simply linking a large number of sites in some pageâ € â € œraise to the classification of each particular site Googleâ € ™ s search resultsâ €). And cites a recent article in the Wall Street Journal reports that hot lists on social networking Web sites are often shaped by a small number of users: that at Digg.com, which has 900000 registered users, 30 people were responsible at one point for submitting a third of postings on the home page; and at Netscape.com, a single user was behind more than 217 stories for a period of two weeks, or 13 percent of all stories that reached the most popular list in that period. Because Web 2,0 celebrates the â € œnoble amateurâ € during experts, and because many search engines and Web sites tout popularity rather than reliability, notes Mr. Keen, itâ € ™ s easy for misinformation and rumours proliferate in cyberspace. For example, the online encyclopedia Wikipedia (which relies on voluntary editors and contributors) gets way more traffic than the Web site run by Encyclopedia Britannica (which depends on experts and scientists), although the interactive format employed from Wikipedia that opens to postings that are inaccurate, unverified, even downright fraudulent. This year, revealed that a contributor using the name Essjay, who had edited thousands of Wikipedia articles and was once one of the few people given the authority to arbitrate disputes between writers, was a 24 years named Ryan Jordan, not the regular professor who is supposed to be. Since contributors to Wikipedia and YouTube are often anonymous, itâ € ™ s hard for users to be certain of the identity â € “or their agendas. Apospaseis about political candidates, for example, can be done by their opponents incentives disguising ; And propaganda can be passed off as news or information. For this issue, as pointed out by Mr. Keen, the idea of objectivity is becoming increasingly passà © Relativistic in the sphere of the Internet, where bloggers cherry-pick information and promote speculation and spin as fact. That historians and journalists traditionally strived to deliver the best available truth, many bloggers revel in their own subjectivity, and many Web 2.0 users simply use the Net, Mr Keenâ € ™ s words, to confirm the â € œown partisan views and link with other people with the same ideologies.â € Whatâ € ™ s more, as mutually agreed upon facts become more elusive, informed debate about important social and political issues of the day it becomes more also difficult. Although Mr Keenâ € ™ s objection to the issuance and distribution of Web tools to provide aspiring artists and writers sound churlish and elitist â € “calls publish-on-demand services â € œjust cheaper, more accessible versions of vanity presses where the untalented go to buy the guise of publicationâ € â € “is eloquent on the fallout that free, user-generated materials is having on traditional media. Mr. Keen argues that the democratized Webâ € ™ s penchant for mash-ups, remixes and cut-and-paste jobs threaten not just copyright laws but also the very ideas of authorship and intellectual property. observes that as advertising dollars migrate from newspapers, magazines and television news in the Web, organizations with expertise and resources to finance investigative and foreign reporting face more and more business challenges. And shows that, as falling sales of CD (in the person of digital piracy and single - song downloads) and the music business becomes increasingly embattled, new artists will discover that the reputation of the Internet is not the kind of sales or worldwide recognition enjoyed by earlier generations of musicians. â € œWhat may not realize that is what is free is actually costing us a fortune, â € Mr. Keen writes. â € œThe new winners â € “Google, YouTube, MySpace, Craigslist, and hundreds of start-ups hungry for a piece of cake Web 2,0 â € “is unlikely to fill the shoes of their industries are helping to undermine, in terms of products produced, jobs created, revenue generated or benefits conferred. By stealing away our eyeballs, the blogs and wikis are decimating the publishing, music and news-gathering industries that created the original content of these sites aggregate.â â € ~ € ™ Our culture is essentially cannibalizing its young, destroying the very sources of the content crave.â €

and the mark; I quite often ask this question of whether or not community involvement is truly a company successfully. Do you think that is based on customers? Why or why not? I am a businessman seeking to start and after studying i other companies have not yet responded to this question. is sponsorship and charity worth the time and money in a company?
My Comments

1. and indeed is a concept called corporate social responsibility (CSR), but the planting of trees and pulic relations probably will not be present in the newly created companies that focus on customers gives you the best price for CSR will now come to the organisation after it integrates itself as a limited / public company
2. To answer your question, yes - having community participation, and helps you achieve a company from the fact that people will get to know you, and I hope they will trust you and your product. Involved with a local parliament in their networking groups is a very good way to start. You’re automatically volunteering your time and efforts for the community. We are a company that joined donates a lot of money for children - so while I’m working to sell the product, I think our money is a worthy cause - not only in our pockets. I am proud of the company went - and I really believe in their products. It is all natural and non-conservative vitamins and food supplements. It is also supported by reputable scientific research. I willing to share more details if you will my email through Yahoo account email.

How can small businesses use these sites to get customers? Examples of successful entrepreneurs and small enterprises that use these social networking sites will be welcome.
My Comments

1. Usually I see many musicians who use these sites for promotion. It promotes their myspace page for external communication - that is, connected to the site, flyers, so their fans know when the next gig, how to buy CDs, etc. But usually the promotion of the page is done by side of myspace.
2. I have actually setting up a MySpace for business, but have hesitated mainly because of the nature of MySpace. It is primarily, as you say, a social networking site that really geared towards person-to-face socializing. I also believe that the nature of small businesses will determine whether a valid presence can be done or not. For example, business-oriented entertainment industries better than what they say insurance companies because of too great musicians want to be models and actors on MySpace. There are some avenues for MySpace that may be worth exploring: 1) Teams: Create a group centered around your small businesses. Recruit members, encourage debate, to publish posts, etc. 2) Events: Create an event centered around your business, be it a physical location or exposed to the virtual world. 3) Classifieds: Pretty self Hmm, now that I took some time to devote some thought to this, I may look again at MySpace. Thanks for the inspiration imisidro! The social network sites seem to be more advantageous for small businesses is Squidoo, Ryze & LinkedIn. I am a member of all three, but admittedly did not have much time for exploration. I am not familiar with any successful small business entrepreneurs who use MySpace or Facebook. Unfortunately I can not help you there. Hope that helps!
